About me.
Hi, I’m Sophie Hinn... Born and raised in Okoboji, Iowa. I’ve been behind a camera since 2016, learning by doing, experimenting, and saying yes to just about every idea that comes my way. What started as photography quickly grew into videography, and now video is where I feel most at home- capturing movement, sound, emotion, and the moments you didn’t even realize were happening.
I’ve filmed in private planes, classic cars, on the lake after dark, and in some of life’s most raw, real moments. I’m down for the idea, the adventure, and the climb it takes to get the shot. Sessions with me are relaxed, energetic, and genuinely fun! Complete with sound effects, laughter, and zero pressure to be “perfect.”
When I’m not creating, you’ll probably find me volunteering at the Emmet County Animal Shelter, helping cats and dogs find their forever homes. Animals, storytelling, and community are all things I care deeply about. I also wear another hat as a real estate agent with Hinn Real Estate, where I get to blend creativity and connection in a whole different way.
